Did you know?
Bombays are not fully mature until they are three years old. Getting a young adult is a good value and a great way to get a second cat to go with a kitten.

Bombay Adults

Our History

We are getting out of breeding and showing Bombays.
Many of our former breeding and show cats need new homes.
All of our cats have been neutered or spayed, so they will make great pets.

Elizabeth
ELIZABETH (GC Night Sky's Misty Meadow) - black Bombay spayed female born January 2006. Best Bombay in the Great Lakes Region 2006-2007. Ready for a new home now. This beauty is outgoing, friendly, and great with kittens. She likes taking naps with me and rests on my chest when I'm watching TV. She likes being the dominant cat.

Linda
LINDA (Night Sky's Misty Haven) - black Bombay spay born June 2007. She is a beautiful, friendly girl, but is also a very dominant cat. She needs to be in an only cat home.

Kaleb
KALEB (Night Sky's Moonlight Rapsody) - large black neutered male born 6/11/06
Kaleb is our last male available. He is a little shy but should really blossom
in a home of his own. He gets along with everyone.

Merrie
MERRIE (Night Sky's LOLcat) - black spayed female born 12/12/07.

Brianna
BRIANNA (Night Sky's Mocha Cappuccino) is a sable Bombay female born May 2005. Not all Bombays are black, as you can tell by this beautiful brown girl. She will want to be in your lap and on your bed. She gets along with everyone.

DANIELLE and DAWN are outgoing, loving cats, but they need special, quiet homes, where there are no other pets or young children. They get along well with each other. They may leave together or singularly. Danielle is black and has a longer nose. Dawn is sable and looks a lot like Brianna.

WHY GET AN ADULT?

From time to time a breeder no longer needs a cat in their breeding or show program. These young adults are usually altered and go to new homes. After spending a year or two with us, they have most of their lives to live. We also recommend that kitten buyers have two cats. Getting one of our adults as well as a kitten is a cost-effective way to do this.

1. They cost less than kittens.

2. They have stronger immune systems than kittens

3. They are pretty well trained to use their scratching posts and to stay off curtains and out of closets.

4. Older cats are less rambunctious than kittens and get into less trouble.

5. We recommend that most kittens have another cat to keep them company. A young adult is a cost effective way to get a second cat.

6. A Bombay's life span is generally 15 to 20 years. You still have many years left with your cat.
